Beach Lawn House, the historic former home of White Star Line founder Thomas Henry Ismay, was recently featured in the Liverpool Echo’s ‘Behind the Doors’ series, marking its first public opening since 1882. The article told the story of Clifford Ismay, a distant relative of the Ismay family, who was invited by owner Tracey Robinson to stay in the Victorian villa and experience its rich maritime heritage.
Once a private residence overlooking Crosby Beach, the Grade II listed property now welcomes guests to stay in beautifully restored suites that were once the Ismays’ lounge, dining and billiard rooms—offering a rare chance to step inside a home that played a part in the history of the Titanic.
